August 4th, 5
th, 6th

Friday, August 4th

You are to report to Whiting Campground, Mapleton Canyon. (up Mapleton Canyon.) no sooner than 2:00 pm (Fri.) Prepare setting up camp and familiarize yourself with the surrounding area & other personnel. Camp break down is no later than 1:00pm, Sunday August 6th when the entire area must be vacated and free of litter.

Starting at 3:00pm, all Horse Shoe personnel can begin signing in.

Fo those of you in the Bingo unit, there will be a meeting form 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

We will be breaking for Dinner at 7:00pm at which time we will be serving- a taco bar with beans and rice tossed salad and dressing, and chips and salsa. We will also have punch and dessert. As you know the Federal Government has cut back on our budget and so the cost of meal is $2.50 per adult, and $2.00 per child, or $14.00 per family (must be living in one household.) not to worry though, these proceeds go to help fund further investigations and gatherings which greatly benefit our cause so please attend.

After dinner there will be time to introduce you fields of expertise through Karaoke & campfire exercises.

Return to your camps and get a good nights rest, report for breakfast at 0800 hrs.

Saturday, August 5th

Breakfast commences at 8:00am. We will be serving biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes & eggs, OJ, hot cocoa, and coffee. (The cost will be the same as dinner) All proceeds are appreciated and will be put to good use.

Horse shoe units will begin with their exercise early, and all those late comers must hurry and sign in.

Bingo units should be on task not later than 9:00am.

At 10:00am there will be a special assignment for all personnel 12 and under. Help us solve the mystery of the hidden pictures. Incentives will be give as these puzzles are solved. Also practice is required to improve you marksmanship with darts and balloons, and you accuracy will be measured during the "ring-a-pop" toss assignment. Incentives will be given to those showing improvement. Your memory will also be tested with an assortment of guessing games.

Please sign up for the talent show with Donna Lowe between 8am and 12pm.

At 11:00am there will be relaxation exercise for all personnel 13 to adult. Meet at the volleyball net where you will be allowed to kick back and enjoy yourselves This exercise was designed to help relieve stress and clear you minds for the upcoming Crime Scene Investigation. We may have another assignment at this time also.

From 11:00am-12:00pm we will be selling raffle tickets to help raise much needed money to fund future exercises. We will be accepting all donations, large and small, to be raffled off. Please be generous so that future assignments will not suffer due to lack of funds.

We will break for pot luck lunch at 1:00pm. Please provide you own eat and a dish to share with your fellow investigators.

Between 2:00pm & 2:30pm we will need all raffle items brought to the main gathering site. Our raffle begins at 3:00p[m. Immediately following our trophy presentations the horse shoe competition and other various games will be awarded. Following the trophy presentations, will be the talent show of promising personnel.

Dinner tonight is on your own.

6:30pm: The time we have all been waiting for has arrived. All personnel 13yrs and older, who wish participate, please meet at the main tables (no flashlights required.) Numbers will be drawn, and even teams will be assembled. (This exercise will replace the treasure hunt this year.) You memories and expertise will be tested to the limits, and team work is a must. Although no sharing of information with other teams is allowed. We wish all of you the best of luck in solving these crimes, and the winning team will receive recognitions packages.

6:30-7:30pm: For personnel 12 years and younger, there will be a scavenger hunt investigation. Meet at the fire pit.

Other personnel not wanting to participate in these activities are free to share thoughts and ideas with the other personnel around the campfire and in surrounding areas.

   Sunday, August 6th

Breakfast is on your own.
At 9:00am, the bingo units will be wrapping up a few more assignments.

Camps must be broken down, packed up, and moved out 1:00pm. Everyone is encouraged to cleanup the surrounding area.
